Defeat Distraction with two thoughtful steps.

Instead of focusing on that circumstance which you cannot change, focus strongly and powerfully on that you can.                                                                                              - Joy Page

So you have everything planned out. But when its time to get the work done, you face like a million distractions.
It's frustrating...
why did I go by all the trouble planning when at the end of the day all I am going to do is sit and get distracted?
Well let's face it being a millennial we feel that we can achieve success with less to no efforts, and that's not true. we have got accustomed to a certain lifestyle and it's mostly sedentary. Our brain has trained itself to protect us from doing "too much work".
However, the fact is that if you don't get your butt out of the couch and begin taking action to reform that trait of yours, ten years down the line you would have not achieved what you thought you could.
I have compiled a list of two manageable actions which you can apply instantly to overcome any sort of distraction.

1. Live in the gratitude: There are tons of articles out there about gratitude so let's get to the point in this one.
Gratitude keeps you Grounded.
That's it.
Define your life around gratitude, appreciate that you have only one life and only one chance at becoming a legend.
Start your day with a simple graceful remark and make living in gratitude your go-to.
The sole goal of being grateful is to realize how blessed you are to have this opportunity and make the most of it. This will get you back on the track.

2. Live in Awareness:  Stop whatever you are doing right now and tell me, Have you put TODAY on Autopilot?
That's it right there, we constantly set our life on autopilot. We give up, or worse we procrastinate.
We would rather put our life on autopilot and let time fly us by than, take control and discipline.
Now ask yourself this, has anything PRODUCTIVE ever happened while your life is on autopilot?
No.
The Worlds most successful women,
1.Ophra Winfrey the first African-American women Billionaire.
2. Ellen DeGeneres American Comedian, actress, writer, and producer.
3. Lilly Singh Canadian Youtuber and the most influential women.
4.Gabby Bernstein the #1 NYT Bestselling Author, Speaker and Founder of spirit junkie masterclass.
And a million more...
Have one thing in common, those amazing world-class women are Self-aware.
These are the two most basic and effective ways you can inculcate in your daily routine. I believe these thoughtful steps will sink distraction.

How to do Affirmations like a Pro!

" That which we constantly affirm becomes true for us "  -Louise L. Hay It's OFFICIALLY the worst nightmare. A day before your Dream job interview, y ou are excited yet nervous,  You are prepared but doubtful... You think about the applicants who are skilled than you, who stand a greater chance of getting YOUR dream job.😟 The situation could go a couple of ways, either you will-o'- the-wisp OR, y ou DON'T. You PICK... Louise L. Hay was the firm believer that our thoughts create our reality, and that the power to change our life is in The Now. #25 Powerful Affirmations to get you started

Back in 2009, I was newly introduced to" The Secret to Teen Power " by Paul Harrington. I was surprised to know that my brain can do more than I think it can. Affirmations were the fundamental part of shaping my subconscious. Books such as " Heal Your Life " by Louise L. Hay, " The Power of Your Subconscious Mind " by Dr Joseph Murphy, " The Power of Intention " by Wayne Dyer and " A Course In Miracles ", guided me to many effective affirmations I could use instantly. Here are 25 Simple Affirmations which I have been using for years, these are the pillars on which I build my new Affirmations. In the infinity of life where I am all is perfect whole and complete, and yet life is ever changing there is no beginning and no end, only constant cycling and recycling of substance and experience. My journey through life is vibrant and peaceful. Reality is safe and secure and wholly kind to everyone and everything. I can do this.
